The Lighthouse Project by three school students, is building global bonds against religious, cultural and racial discrimination, earning them seats at a UN summit
Aaria Chandwani, Adarsh Chittimoori and Saachi Gonzalez Chennur have extra fun during weekends, by connecting with children their age from across the globe, chatting and doing activities together. However, this is not part of their leisure social media time and their activities have nothing to do with viral challenges. It is a part of The Lighthouse project (TLP), that the trio started with the help of 1M1B (1Million for 1 Billion) Foundation’s future leaders programme in March this year.

Reigning champion Mohsin Ahmed of Bengaluru has established lead at the end of the first scoring round of the eighth edition of the annual global contest Indian Crossword League, popularly called IXL.
Ahmed is followed by Chennai’s Ramki Krishnan at the second position. Ramki has won the contest four times in the last seven editions, an IXL release said on Sunday.

Dr. Vivek Goel, a distinguished scholar with extensive achievements in research, teaching and leadership across both public and private sectors, will become the seventh president and vice-chancellor of the University of Waterloo.
Goel has held a number of senior leadership roles at the University of Toronto including Vice-President and Provost and Vice-President Research and Innovation.
